What happens when a family first gets in touch?

When a family first gets in touch by email, phone or through the website enquiry form, a brief phone call can be arranged to discuss the support they are looking for. Families are then asked to complete a referral form. Once Chloe has reviewed this, she will make contact to talk through the information provided, recommend the most appropriate next step and discuss availability.

1:1 clinic sessions take place in Santry, Dublin 9. Full directions, parking information and arrival guidance are provided before a child's first session.

The most appropriate type and level of support will be advised before sessions begin. Clinic sessions may be offered on their own or alongside consultation-based support.

What happens during the first clinic session?

The first few sessions is an opportunity for your child to get comfortable in the space, explore their interests, and begin getting to know Chloe at their own pace. Chloe works at your child's pace and helps the clinic feel safe, positiveand familiar.

Goals are developed collaboratively with families following assessment, observation and discussion. They are based on your child's strengths, needs, and family priority. Families receive regular updates, and goals and programmes are reviewed and adjusted where needed.
