Toilet Teaching

Individualised, practical support for your child and family.

Toilet teaching can look different for every child. Chloe provides individualised support based on your child’s current skills, needs and stage of development. Support focuses on understanding what may be making toilet teaching difficult, building the skills your child needs and developing a clear, manageable plan that can be followed consistently at home.

Parent & Caregiver Support

Guidance throughout the process, including reviewing progress, trouble shooting difficulties and adapting strategies when needed.

Toilet teaching support may be helpful if:

  • Your child is finding it difficult to begin or progress with toilet teaching.

  • Your child is comfortable using the toilet/potty for wees but bowel movements remain difficult.

  • Your child is experiencing accidents or finding it difficult to recognise when they need the toilet.

  • Your child finds sitting on or approaching the toilet/potty difficult.

  • Previous toilet teaching approaches have not worked for your child and you would like guidance.

  • Your child has developmental or additional needs and would benefit from a more individualised approach.

  • You would like a clear plan and guidance on how to approach toilet teaching consistently at home.
